Delaida Transcriber turns OGG, MP3, MP4, and M4A recordings into text without sending the audio to a cloud transcription service by default. It supports a batch command-line workflow and a lightweight browser interface for moving recordings from a phone to a local machine.
The project is intentionally honest about its boundary: local Whisper is the default, local post-processing can use Ollama, and any hosted backend is optional and must be disclosed by the person running it.
